reasoningMarilyn and Jenny are, of course, best friends and always will be. Or so everyone thinks. Marilyn tells Jenny everything, but Marilyn also gets jealous about the attention that Jenny gets from guys and how everyone thinks she is better than Marilyn herself. They met back when Marilyn first came to Dayton, and have been inseperable ever since.

There's never a dull moment when you're around her. I honestly don't know what I would do without a best friend like her, I can always count on her to have my back if someone is talking bad about me. And of course, I would do the same for her. She's an amazing person, and although we have our complications, everything always turns out alright."

astrid and jenny, even though they aren't in the same clique, are very good friends. they only first started talking at the end of sophomore year but their friendship definitely developed quickly. as it stands right now astrid considers jenny to be one of her closest girl friends, and she does tell her virtually everything. they hang out nearly every day and they just seem to be a very good fit, friends wise anyways. there's no jealousy or lying only hangouts, sleepovers, gossip, girls nights and all those other fun things friends love to do. it's assumed that astrid and jenny are such good friends because jenny and marilyn have this on and off friendship thing going on and jenny may need more security in a friendship than they jealousy and the bantering that jenny and marilyn have in their friendship.
