Cory Johnson has always been the ladies man, no girl was ever able to resist his romantic tactics and charm. Well, until he met Stephanie Hale. It was supposed to be easy, he would charm her and make her think that he liked her a lot and it would be done. But it wasn't that easy. Cory fell in love with Stephanie, and by the time he figured that out it was too late. He blurted something out that he couldn't take back, and if he could do anything over, it would be that moment. Stephanie started dating a new guy named OPEN SPOT 001, and it seemed like he was everything Cory wasn't. He was sweet, and charming, and romantic. What could be better than this? Except that Stephanie did still have some feelings for Cory. Meanwhile, Cory was miserable, he had never felt this before. This feeling of heartbreak. The spring fling dance finally came, it was girl's choice, and Stephanie asked OPEN SPOT 001, and he of course accepted. Cory got asked a lot, but turned them all down. He did, however go to the dance after OPEN SPOT 002 begged him to get out of his dorm and try to have some fun. He went along with OPEN SPOT 002, and they overhead OPEN SPOT 001 and OPEN SPOT 003 talking, and OPEN SPOT 001 wasn't dating Stephanie for romantic reasons. Cory loses control and just confronts him, OPEN SPOT 002 begs him not to as he starts talking but Cory ends up hitting OPEN SPOT 001 and kicking his ass, well or was pretty close to it before Stephanie found them and got mad at poor Cory. He left the dance that night more heartbroken than ever, and with all the stuff that was hidden in his past, he thought he was finally free, but he wasn't. After the AP comes to get OPEN SPOT 001 to clean him up, OPEN SPOT 004 goes to Stephanie and tells her what happened, since she overheard what had been said about Stephanie. Immediately Stephanie goes after Cory, but she has to go all the way to his dorm room. She knocks on it, but he doesn't answer, she screams his name but hears nothing. She starts to get worried after a few minutes, she tries the door and it's locked, remembering that he kept a key down the hall under a plant. She runs to get it, and runs back quickly opening the door. She screams his name again and again, searching rooms until she finds him in the bathroom, but he seemed to have overdosed. Which brings us to the present. Cory attempted suicide, but the doctor's aren't sure if he'll make it or not. Will Stephanie ever know what is really wrong? Will Cory make it? If he lives, will he finally tell her the one thing that he has never told any one girl, I love you?

OPEN SPOT 001 - a guy that is a bit of a player like cory, but is only dating stephanie for one reason.
OPEN SPOT 002 - cory's best guy friend that is always there for him, he knows that cory has a lot of feelings for stephanie but he hasn't told cory he knows that yet.
OPEN SPOT 003 - just a random guy at the dance that is friends with the guy dating stephanie.
OPEN SPOT 004 - a girl that is close with stephanie who never approved much of cory.
