Gah! You’ve found me!Most of you probably already know a lot about me, or at least more than others, but why not share some of my core facts with you?
- My name is Carmen, but I answer to a million other names. People who find “carmen” to be a hard name to remember call me “Cameron.” When it comes to art/writing, I have two pennames. They are dullBOY and mistress kiwi. It all depends on the work I do as to which I use. Now, my super duper close friends, or even the people who just meet me enjoy calling me “Buzz Kill.”
- Why? Because I am one. I have an amazing talent as to where I can be with a large group of friends (or my entire high school band!) and everyone will be talking and laugh and having a good time. I will say ONE LINE, and everyone stops. The good mood is gone. Worse, I don’t even say things worth hearing. I wish I could harness this power for the greater good.
- Want an example? A few weeks ago I was talking to the art kids about my old puppy. He was hilarious, really stupid, but funny. Everyone was laughing the entire time until the end where I sais…[pause] “and then he got hit by a car.” one line. Mood ended. It was horrible. I need to start thinking before I open my mouth.
- OK, so names are done. So what about me? I’m a college freshman at Anderson University; I’m a marketing major with a concentration in music business and a minor in public relations. What does this mean? I haven’t fully decided yet, but I have a dream to be a marketing rep for Atlantic record.
- I love my hair. I love hair in general, even other people’s. It’s a huge thing for me and I cut/dye my own. I’ve been doing it since I was 12 [starting with the highlighting cap thing of course] and have had the same hair style since I was like 14 [what I have now.]
- Both of my ears are pierced ONCE and will never be pierced again. My lip is pierced, and I want snakebites, but I got the first done a little too close to the center to pull them off. : ( sad day. I’m not getting anymore piercing though. I am getting a tattoo after I go to Boston in March for a music biz thing, and it’s going to be in memory of a really close friend.
- I love music. I write/arrange piano and flute pieces. I’m a flautist, but I can also play trumpet, saxophone, and piano. I really want to learn to play a viola. I sing in the car and in the shower but nowhere else.
- My favourites? Color is BROWN. Food is POMEGRANATE. Band is THE ACADEMY IS…. Show is SCRUBS. Sound is REALLY CRUNCHY LEAVES. Subject in school is HISTORY. And pattern is ARGILE.
- I’m German. My grandparents on my dad’s side are from Germany. Not only am I German, but I happen to related to Ava Hitler. It’s pretty distant, like if I wanted to it’d be legal to marry her. But yeah, there’s a blood connection there somewhere.
- I’m FILLED with random facts and useless knowledge that will get me nowhere in life. [rats can’t throw up. That’s why rat poison works.]
- I love religion. I’ve been obsessed with learning all I can since I saw Hercules and got interested in Greek Mythology. Christianity confuses the hell out of me though, and it’s the only one I find doesn’t make a lot of sense. This is one reason why AU appealed to me. [christian college. We have to take a bible class, plus I plan to learn more about the religion, hoping it’ll make sense.]
- Myself? Well, I’m a Mahayana Buddhist. Any questions about Buddhism? Don’t be too shy to ask!
- I can’t stand the taste/smell of chocolate. It makes me sick.
- I speak German on my freetime. Haha! I’m such a dork!
- All my friends at school are art majors, or they are dating art majors.
- I love meeting people outside of high school because it takes away reasons I may dislike them. Some of the people I know now I probably would’ve never said “hi” to last year.
- My favourite character I’ve ever created is the famous GEOFF. He’s been used about 6 times now, and it’s funny that I started his life at the age of 23 then move backwards, but it’s all worked out.
