personality: If you asked someone about Kenny, the first thing they'd tell you was that there was never a dull moment with him. Kenny is constantly cracking jokes, wether he'll get in trouble for it or not. Due to his hilarity, he has lots of friends who enjoy having him about. Underneath the funny, there's a really sweet guy who doesn't like to talk bad aobut people, but he's so easily pressured he does anyway.
There's another side of him only a few see though, and that's the side that is desperate to please. He studies incredibly hard, and always makes top grades, so he doesn't let his parents down. His greatest fear is faliure, being mocked, cast out, humiliated. This makes him bend exceptionally easily to people wills, especially if they have power over him.
On the other hand, this trait is a wonderful thing, especially for his girlfriend. She'll never be let down, never be dumped, and always recieve straight honesty. He's very sympathetic and understanding, and his witty, almost strangely intelligent sense of humor lightens situations easily. Don't get him angry, though, he has a ferocious temper.

appearance: Kenny has dark brown, almost expresso hair. His eyes are a dark hazel color, bordering more on brown. His skin is smooth and flawless, a pale tan color. One of his old nicknames was "flippy" for his hairstyle, which turns out at the ends. He has long fingers, being a piano player, and he has a well proportioned, athletic body.
He's pretty short, standing at about 5'6", but that doesn't stop him from being rather gifted in the looks department. Because of his personality, some girls think of him more as a friend, but they'd be suprised what a good boyfriend he'd really be. He likes to wear loose jeans, and aslmost anything on top, from skater hoodies, sports shirts, and resteraunt shirts from his dad's diner.
He always likes to throw something crazy into his outfits, just to spice it up. He has about a million pairs of sunglasses, which he shows off at all times. He also wears crazy shoes, from sharpied vans to red converses. Sometimes he wears a hat, but he loses those a lot.

history: When he was very little, his father was very poor, and his mother had just barely gotten her job as a principal. He would have long talks with his older brother, Ricky, about how he had to be good for mom and dad and how he should never upset them or ask anything of them, because they had already given so much and didn't have much left. This made young Kenny uneasy, but he agreed, and was never any trouble.
His sense of humor developed as he aged, and he quickly became popular for his ability to make everyone laugh. He went through grade school as the class clown, yet he never went far enough to get in actual trouble, because that would be hurting his parents, which he avoided doing like the plague. His brother also taught him how to stay away from the trouble makers and to get excellent grades, so he wouldn't have to stress so much, and could do the things he wanted. He became heavily dependent upon his brother, and they were inseperable.
His father scraped enough money to start a small food stand, and he would cater events with his exquisite cuisine. Eventually, he got enough money to build a resteraunt, and in a matter of years, he had a flourishing chain. His family learned to live well, and accordingly, Kenny became even more popular when he started to wear more and more extravagant clothing. The height was when he got his Ray Bans. He was absoloutely the highest rank possible, and his brother began to notice his change.
He began to blow off homework for parties, for girls, to go hang with the guys. His grades slipped, and one time he even came home slightly drunk. His brother decided enough was enough, and refused to let him go anywhere without him, and when he had to go off to college, Ricky told his parents about his deviant little brother, and his parents decided he was being influenced badly by the community, and they moved here.
He's still extremely angry with his brother, but he's shaped up, and now he keeps up his grades and his piano playing. Most of all, he hasn't let go of his amazing sense of humor, and he still cracks jokes whenever possible.

The brown-eyed boy walked with a distinct air about him, head up, mouth drawn into a condescending frown. He was heading for class, and he made it abundantly clear through body language and facial expression that too-friendly strangers were not welcome. His eyes scanned through the crowd for his friends, but he couldn’t see through the thick swarm, and grumbling to himself, he trudged on.
When he reached class he chose a strategic seat near the back, where his group of friends usually sat. Resting his sneakered feet on a nearby desk, he flicked through his text messages on his phone under his table. Slowly, his crowd trickled in, reciting a series of generic slaps with his friends, each handshake only slightly unique. He and his friend Marley were the loudest, laughing above the rest of the hum as they joked about the ergonomic shoes their decrepit old English teacher wore. She shuffled around like the living dead, hand shaking as she scrawled in broken cursive on the whiteboard. They snickered and whispered jabs to each other, the other members of their group silently giggling, too.
The frail old teacher managed to quiet them down eventually, and Kenny slid his eyes around, looking for people who were also risking their phones, silently tapping away the their keyboards. His girlfriend, Laura, who had long brown hair, blew him a kiss, and he winked back, batting those long, dark lashes. How could she resist? Her fair skin and blue eyes lit her face behind a curtain of deep brown hair. Angel-faced, she smiled, creating small creases at the base of her cheeks, and he gazed at her longingly, wanting to reach out and touch her porcelain skin. But she sat rows across from him, and all he could do was fidget in anticipation.
He realized by then they were answering questions as a class, and he turned his attention to the teacher, who failed to keep it. He nudged Marley with an elbow and gestured to the class nerd, who sat straight-backed at his desk, writing furiously while his nose dripped a various assortment of liquids. He wrinkled his nose a little. Even for Neville, that was really, really, nasty. It wasn’t that he liked to make fun of the dorky kids, it was what was expected, so to speak. If they’re a lower social status than you, then there was license to mock them. And that’s the way it was. He kept his status and kept people laughing, so he milked it for all it was worth.
And it wasn’t like the nerdy kids thought him particularly bad for it either. They knew their place, and they faced the challenges of that position every day. Everyone made fun of them, silently or not, and everyone looked down their nose at them. If you stayed put on the social ladder you were accepted, top or bottom. Those trying to make drastic leaps either way were frowned upon, and cast out. It was a much better life to be in the circle at the bottom than not in at all.
The bell rang and everyone jumped up, starting to chatter once again, ignoring the teacher who was trying to tell them the homework. Slowly, the mass started to filter out the doorway, chatting and laughing all the way. Laura found Kenny, and he hugged her around the waist, smelling her hair when he put his head on her shoulder. She laughed and hugged him back, running her fingers through the back of his hair. He sighed and withdrew, looking lovingly into her blue-gray eyes. The hall was nearly empty, and he hurried off, trailing his fingers along her waist as he left the embrace. He turned back and flashed a smile, winking, then ducked into a classroom.
