SELENA JULIET WESTWOOD
basic information;
full name: marilyn marie dayton.
nicknames: mari, dayton, just marilyn mostly.
age: sixteen.
grade: junior.
gender: female.
sexuality: straight.
their inner beauty;
personality:
Marilyn is a very fake girl. She is sweet to someone's face, but talks behind everyone's back. She is the girl you would expect to have no real friend. She is only in this to keep her own head afloat, if she has any friends, she only has one and it's her best one. The sidekick. Her air headed thoughts have taken over her and have convinced her that everyone should love and respect her. No one should think little of her. And if they do? They'll pay the price. Of course, she is also the girl everyone loves. No one thinks of her as pregnant dogy, that is only because she acts nice to people’s faces, but deep down, she’s the Regina George of Dayton.
Marilyn is high-maintenance. She always has to have the best of the best, or she is not happy. Sure she’ll pretend to be happy but deep down she’s burning. She hates seeming lower than another person. But, when you got it, flaunt it, right? Selena loves to brag about what she has, she is a real snob. She has no problem letting you know it either.
Marilyn is extremely fake. She is the backstabber girl that your mom warns you about at home to stay away from. She talks about people, that's just how she is. She spreads rumors but never starts them. She blames everything on everyone else around her, making her untrustworthy as a friend. Marilyn may be Miss Popular but her real friends only consist of the girls that follow her every order, and the boys who find her irresistable, not because of their cliques but she feels they are the only cool people in the school. She will now and then have a friend outside the clique.
Marilyn is a flirtatious girl. She loves to make others jealous and split people from friends or lovers. She is smart as well, so it is hard to beat her at her own game. She has both beauty and brains, something that usually does not mix together. She loves to fake a hurt heart to make others feel guilty as she gets what she wants. Though some do not listen to her, by the time she's through with them they do.
Although you have seen how fake Marilyn can be, she is anything but a whore. She doesn't just jump from guy to guy, he had to treat her like a Queen to get anywhere with her. But don't let that make you think she wouldn't jump at the opportunity to ruin someone else's relationship that she does not like. She would so love that.
Marilyn can be very nice. When she's in her "happy" mode, she can be the sweetest person you know. Usually, you have to start something with her, sure she's snobby but she could be a good resource and person for you to have on your side. She's not friends with just anyone, I mean she really has to like you. She most likely will unless your personality, or even looks, have one of her pet peevs included. To sum this up, Marilyn is you basic high school girl.

their outter shell
appearance:
Marilyn has deep brown eyes that sparkle when she's extremely happy. Her "big, brown eyed girl" appearance is both cute, and mysterious. She has a sense of confidence in her eyes, you can tell that she has no self-esteem issues in her life. She definetly doesn't need any. You can see her real image in her eyes, they tell her story. Beautiful girl, firery disposition and bitchy attitude. Her eyes also show her mood, if they sparkle as I mentioned earlier, she is in a fairly good mood. If they seem a bit dull, she is tired or upset. If they tend to seem as if they are stone, she is angry or feels like being a total bitch. That's when you should just stay out of her way.
Marilyn's hair is dark brown. People say it's as thick as a horse's tail, but I beg to differ. Her hair is much thicker than a horse's mane. Her hair can be a pain, as beautiful as it is. Even a material girl like her hates doing her hair for an hour in the morning. It's very hard to tame, but a lot of people would do anything to have a head of hair like her. It hits about 3 inches past her shoulders, but she is currently letting it grow out another inch or two. She has side bangs as well. Giving herself that old Ashlee Simpson haircut, only a little less choppy in the back.
Marilyn is considered to be tall for a girl. At least to most, because most girls stand at about 5'2" or so. Marilyn's height is 5'5". Back in her hometown, she was one of the taller girls, but here at Dayton, she blends in quite well. She has a slim and slender body, but don't let that make you think she can just eat whatever she wants. She is natually small, but she can easily let herself go just as any other person could.
Marilyn has no scars, she has always been careful in the sports she does. But, even though her skin can not always be perfect. Marilyn’s skin is her biggest flaw; her face can be more oily than dry. She hides this well with oil make-up and washing 3 times a day. Marilyn’s is between a fair color and Golden brown from being at her favorite place in the world, the beach. She is more likely is burn then tan, rather than tan straight away.
Marilyn was always against piercings as a little girl, as much as her mother pushed her to get them like the other girls she refused everytime. She preferred the Disney Clip On earrings you got from the “Pretty like a Disney Princess” kits, the ones with Ariel on them. When Marilyn was 12, she finally gave in to her mother’s request and got diamond studs in her ears as her first earrings. Then, that same year, she got her second holes because all of her friends were getting them, being the popular girl in her middle school she couldn’t be the only one without them. Nonetheless let her enemies have cuter things than her. Not to mention she has a belly button ring that she yet to tell her parents about.

parents:
LOUISE WESTWOOD-DAYTON
Mother, Forty-two, Doctor
Louise is a very pretty woman, Selena does not look a lot like her mother, however. She has been said to have the same firey personality as her though. Louise and Selena's relationship is very strong, Louise is more considered Selena's friend than her mother. That can be a good, and bad thing. But every girl needs her mother, and from what their relationship seems to be, Selena doesn't have one.
BRYAN KEITH DAYTON, II
Father, Forty-three, Professional Chef and Restaurant owner
Bryan is a fairly tall man, Selena has gotten many comments of being "The Spitting Image of her father". They do look a little alike, but Selena hates that. The relationship they have is strictly parent to child. One day, Selena knows they will be friends but for now Selena can only get the hammer nailed down from Bryan.
siblings:
BRYAN KEITH WESTWOOD, III
Older Brother, Eighteen, College Student in Florida
Bryan hardly looks like anyone from the family. They really aren't even sure where he came from, he does not have the same personality as the rest of the family either. He's more down-to-earth than the rest. He often times gets stopped in the mall to be asked for and Autograph for his ressemblence of Mitchel Musso. Which he absolutely hates. Bryan and Selena have a typical brother-sister relationship. They fight, then they make-up. When they get along they are definetly considered the "partners in crime". However, Bryan knows his sister's real personality and agrees on the fact that he probably wouldn't be friends with her if she was just some girl in the school.
history:
Picture this, it's a quiet day in the town of Charleston. It's bright and sunny on this specific day in March. March 16, to be exact. Louise Dayton swears she is about to go into birth, but when she is rushed to the hospital it was a false alarm. It was at least 6 days past the date given, this baby was late. The doctor sent Mrs. Louise home, telling her to just relax. But how could she with this little girl in her stomach, she was late, and who knew when she would finally come out to the world?! Louise tried, but you know that she wasn't all that calm. I think Bryan was just trying to keep Junior entertained, poor kid barely knew how to speak yet but his mother had no interest in talking to him. There were a lot of false alarms in those six days, but they were wrong. Some more wrong than others, but wrong all the same.
March 18 1992, Louise Dayton would be rushed to the hospital for the last time. It was a pretty hectic day, the traffic was bad with the thunder storm. People trying to get home and the Dayton's trying to fight the bad five o'clock traffic. But they got there, in time. This time, it wasn't a fake. The doctor seemed a bit worried when he told the nurse to take her to room C27 immediatly. It seemed that they got there right on time for little Selena to be born without drastic measures. And so, at 11:57 PM on March 18th, 1992 Marilyn Marie Dayton was finally born.
Marilyn had a fairly happy childhood. Being an infant in the big apple city of New York had it's ups and downs though. The Dayton's had just gotten started in their career of restaurant owners. Louise went back to school to finish her last four years in medical school, it was always her dream to become a doctor and even though it was somewhat of a struggle for the family they knew it may help in the end. Bryan Dayton, II was just getting his small restaurant started, but he wasn't just Bryan Dayton, he was CHEF Bryan Dayton. He was one of New York City's top chefs. Yeah, that brought in some money but not nearly as much as a restaurant of their own would. So here they were almost flat broke, starting a business with two kids and going to college. It was pretty stressful seeing that Marilyn and Bryan, Jr. would be going to their grandmother's a lot to be baby-sat until they were old enough to go to school. And her grandparents just so happened to be Bryan Dayton, I and Danielle Stahl-Dayton, and the one and only Dayton Academy was mostly owned by them, and funded. You know the school, the one that Harvard feeds from?
When Marilyn turned five, their lives began to look up. They moved out of their small apartment and Bryan, Jr. and Marilyn no longer had to go to their grandmother's for the day. They were in school, their parents jobs were going better than ever, they were good to go. Bryan, Sr. was now starting to build a new restaurant over in Buffalo. His restaurant's name? VENICE.
Marilyn was now at a nicer school over in Buffalo, and her brother as well. Her mother also worked mornings at the local hospital. Sometimes she worked later, but mostly she was home early. Some people say that the way her parents didn't pay much attention affected her social skills. She became, as what they say, bitter and pregnant dogy with a little twist of sarcasim. No one really knows the real reason, but for whatever happened, it made her likable and popular. Every girl wanted to be her friend, and all the boys, even those who hated girls because they were "icky" had a crush on Miss Marilyn. And this would follow her into middle school.
Marilyn moved a lot from his father's business, in elementary school alone she moved 10 times, which was another attribute to her successful popularity skills. Without moving so much she would have never really learned how to make herself known to the rest of the school. Marilyn became well-known, and easily moved from place to place but it didn't mean it wasn't hard for her. She never really knew what it was like to spend her summer with people she really knew. She never had a summer like that. It was a little sad, but she had friends from every which direction of New York, which was pretty cool.
In Middle School, her family stayed in one city. So Marilyn was able to stay with one group of friends all three years. They were known as the Plastics, I guess you would say. They practically ruled the school. Who was the leader, you ask? Why, I can't believe you'd ask such a thing. Of course it was Marilyn. She was even voted 'Most Beautiful' at the eighth grade notables. It was obvious that Marilyn had a natural beauty on the outside, but her inside was a whole different story. Marilyn had an extremely ugly side. She was the mean girl in school. The Regina George, the Amber&Ashley girl. Any mean girl from any movie you can think of, that's her. You can imagine how happy she was about that, reading her personality and likes/dislikes. She was very happy.
It would all come crashing down now though. It seems the next two years would be very hectic for the family, now that her father's restaurant would be going up in various places they would be moving a lot, and may even need to be homeschooled. Oh yes, I said it. HOMESCHOOLED. And let me tell you, Marilyn was anything but happy about that. She gave a lot of attitude, she finally decided to get together with her brother and find an alternative method. He was already in high school, knowing how everything worked he didn't really want to be homeschooled either. They didn't want to remove themselved from all human communication? So they called up their grandparents, they made sure they had a spot at Dayton Academy. It had been in the family for decades, so why not that be their Alma Matter just like their dad and so many before him?
As a freshman, Marilyn found her place and has her group of friends. She is still considered popular but she is happy with the people she associates with on a regular basis, her girlfriends that is. She quickly climbed the ladder of popularity. Sophomore year was the same, a lot of drama but who doesn't enjoy that? Now, junior year who knows what Dayton has in store.

Bryce threw his guitar case on his bed. It had to of been the worst demo the band had ever made. Hell, they broke up after it. Can anyone say, 'WORST DAY EVER'? Bryce sighed, trying to calm his short, hard breaths. He let himself flop onto the bed next to the black case. He stared silently at it. He felt like it was just mocking him. Just laughing at him, laughing at how badly the band had screwed up. He wrinkled his nose at it. Maybe if the bassist hadn't messed up the d**n keyboard they'd still have a chance. Oh, yeah you heard right. The BASSIST messed up the KEYBOARD. Bryce didn't want to think about it though, it was a horrible memory. He laid flat on his back now looking up straight at the ceiling. The white paint hadn't started fading away yet, yeah the school wouldn't stop the bulletin board from becoming a gossip chain that every owner of the school could see, but they would make sure that paint didn't fade! Because it would be the end of the world if that ceiling paint wasn't blinding white. Bryce rolled his eyes sitting up, he was in a very sarcastic mood, the best thing he could do was get away from this guitar and walk around. There had to be something to do.
He stood up from his bed, he glanced down seeing his keys on the bed, but he turned his head and began to walk, figured he could use the fresh air anyways. He quietly opened the door to his dorm room, and walked out letting it shut behind him. The doors in the boys dorm rooms always shut with a loud BOOM. Bryce hated when the guy next door had parties because people went in and out when Bryce decides to go to bed. He shuttered at the thought of it. He let a small smile find his face when he saw the door that led outside. He decided on his own that it would be good to just wander around the park or something, well that and it was a shortcut to starbuck's. Who said Starbuck's couldn't cheer you up? He pushed the door open. The park wasn't too far from the school, at least that is what Bryce recalled. It wasn't an extremely hot day, but he wouldn't say it was very cool and comfortable either. He was in some light blue jeans that weren't exactly skinny, but you could see that they hugged his legs. His t-shirt was an "ALL TIME LOW" band tee that he had gotten at the concert he went to back at home in California. He twitched his head slightly to let his skater-style hair move out of his eyes. He didn't know what exactly he would do really, he'd make a plan and change it. He was like that, but who likes planning things out? Let it happen, that's what Bryce lives by.
Bryce could see an enterance to the park, it wasn't too far down but he did have to cross the street before he got to it. There was a few people standing at the crossing waiting for the WALK sign to come up. He stood patiently with them. None of them seemed too interesting, one man was in a business suit with a suitcase, he kept staring at his watch, Bryce figured he was late for something. Two girls, that seemed a bit preppy and bubbley, were laughing and whispering to eachother as Bryce walked up, he figured they were into rocker guys. The last woman was in tennis shoes and was jogging in place, obviously she was exercising. He glanced foward, seeing that the walk sign was up, the business man was well halfway across by then though. Bryce couldn't help but give a light laugh as he walked with the two girls and let the jogging woman pass slowly. He walked straight, the two girls walked then turned left at the sidewalk. He turned after a while as well, but into Ridgeview Park. He didn't really have anything to smile about, but he did hear a voice. It was very light and hard to hear, but no one could miss such a pretty voice completely. He stopped, glancing around and found a girl sitting on a bench near him with a guitar. He stared for a moment, then began to walk over. She played guitar too, now of course Bryce wasn't a guy who was a player, he meant everything because he had no time for girls. After the girl had finished her second song, still didn't notice Bryce was behind her listening, Bryce clapped, jokingly of course. He stopped and walked infront of her so she could see him. "That was really good.. You have a pretty voice, and you play guitar. Major points there it's hard to do both at the same time." Bryce complimented her. She was very pretty, blonde hair with brown tinted highlights with bright blue-green eyes. Very noticable, very attractive and very talented, "I'm Bryce, by the way."
